Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) UNISFA

 UNISFA Peacekeeping Quick Impact Projects are designed to build confidence in the mission, its mandate and the peace process. Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) are small-scale, low cost projects, funded by UNISFA, that are planned and implemented within a short timeframe. QIPs respond to the needs expressed by local communities. As a result, they cover a wide range of programmatic activities from refurbishing a school to providing women with safe water access points. QIPs are mainly implemented through local actors including local authorities, non-governmental and grassroots organizations. As such, the implementation of QIPs projects help build their management capacities while broadening the mission’s outreach at the local level.
