There are many ways to Get Involved to make our community better. The whole community can participate in programs and activities to make their families, homes and communities safer from risks and threats. ACAD Team agree the best solution for ensuring a safer South Sudan consists of volunteers, a trained and informed public and increased support of emergency response agencies during disasters. Major disasters can overwhelm the government and first responder agencies but individuals/ organisations can partner to lend support.
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED!
Volunteer to support disaster efforts in your community. Get trained and volunteer with a Community Emergency Response Team, Medical Reserve Corps unit and/or other Citizen Corps Partner Program or Affiliate organization. Many local faith-based and community organizations have programs active in supporting disasters too.
Donate to the ACAD kitty through funds or goods. Money can be channeled through Paypal or Cash Deposits to support us financially for a better community.
Be part ACAD community planning process . Connect and collaborate with our local emergency planning group, management agency. Contact nearest ACAD planning organization.
Join a preparedness project. Find an ACAD event and help in training the community by improving thier knowledge to deal with all community issues.
